Katherine Hunt

Katherine Hunt is an experienced strategist with a proven track record of leading teams, forging partnerships, developing products and creating growth and sustainability strategies through vehicles such as: communications and new media, grant writing, digital innovations, corporate and foundation relations, and strategic analysis and budgeting. Katherine has advised senior leadership of public school districts and institutes of higher education across the country. She has extensive experience working with private foundations, corporate funders and twelve government agencies including the US Department of Education.

Katherine leads the team created LearnDC for the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education and spearheads work with the Foundation for Excellence in Education on the Know Your School Project. She oversaw the redesign of the Data Quality Campaign Website, led the team that created the State of Our Cities online tool and is currently working to enhance school report cards in Illinois with the Illinois State Board of Education. Katherine received her Culture and Politics degree and a Certificate in Justice and Peace Studies from the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service.
